In our experience, research and engagement with leaders from a wide range of organizations and industries it is clear that there is a seismic shift underway calling for new ways of 'being' as leaders that drive strategy, innovation, organizational excellence in an effort to thrive in the 21st century.
However, there remains a significant need for management systems to actually foster coordination of purpose-driven people doing meaningful work. When faced with volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous circumstances, conventional patterns of organizing and leading break down. THE EVOLUTION OF LEADERSHIP iN MANAGEMENT
Individuals participating in the course will learn in different ways, at different paces and in a way that builds community across the learning cohort. Individuals will be tasked to work with their existing teams to trial and plan to slightly alter how they operate in their real-worried setting and apply action-learning to deepen overall learning and retention. Over time, participants feel empowered to continue implementing innovative management tactics across other parts of their company, learn how to rapidly improve them, and, eventually, extend reach to the whole company.
We do not facilitate this management training course as a set of chronological steps, but rather a simultaneous one. Not a rigidly structured one, but favoring fluidity and adaptability to maximize the learning of the individuals and the cohort.
The vital part of our process is working with the participants through guided experiences of learning these topics WHILE learning new mindsets that will create the most value, and breakthroughs.
About the Course
INSTRUCTION & CERTIFICATION
The Leadership in Management Innovation Training course is scheduled for:
24 instructional hours per employee
can be completed in 52 weeks from the start date of the first training session.
Upon successful completion of the course Arete Initiative will provide a certificate of completion to each participant.
cOURSE OUTLINE
Overall, we offer a series of four “learning cycles” with full-cohort sessions occurring approximately every two months, and interim course checkpoint meetings for individuals and subgroups happening in the months in between the full-cohort sessions.
The course outline looks like the below pattern of leadership discovery:
This pattern is proposed to repeat four times throughout the course to with through all 4 topics with the last full-cohort session as a debrief of the development, progress and outcomes that have taken place over the course of the year.

COURSE FEES
This course is $3,500 per person plus GST and typically takes one calendar year to complete.
